Let’s go back to Polecon 2025 (briefly) ’cause I’d like to introduce Chloe, a former pole studio owner turned entrepreneur and the founder of Show Pony, maker of heels and sleeves.
Chloe has a super sweet demeanor and I had the pleasure of chatting with her and learning about the origin of Show Pony.
Spoiler alert: I purchased my first pair of Show Pony heels in sparkly, glittery gold! Dancing in them was smooth and I had a clear toe box protector glued on (made by @polemom.design) so I could dance without worrying about scratches.
In 2012, Cleo the Hurricane, a former Ms. Pole Dance Australia and successful pole wear entrepreneur, visited Chloe’s studio in Minnesota to teach sold out workshops. One of Chloe’s loves was heels and choreography. Cleo suggested that Chloe create her own heels brand. While she was doubtful that she could do it, Chloe sold her studio in 2021 and began researching how to go about building an online business.
Chloe launched Show Pony, and to her, it has become her “dream job!” Here’s to never knowing when or where inspiration might come upon us. If you are truly passionate about something, find a way to pursue what you love. Thank you, Chloe, for bringing your product to the pole community.
